Good for them!

However, if I was anywhere within a few hours of Denver I'd still show up & hope to score a ticket in front of the theater. There's always a few people who bought extra tickets for friends who ended up not being able to make the show....

In my case I was unwilling to fly from Florida to Colorado without being assured of getting in, but I've yet to get locked out of a show--it's amazing how lucky one gets finding extras to sold out shows by walking around with a $50 or $100 bill up in the air! And I've never bought from a scalper and never paid more than face + fees for a ticket.
